The Action

Rodeo Events

Five classic rodeo disciplines showcasing the finest athletes in rodeo. Each performance features all events every night.

Bull Riding

Bull Riding

The most thrilling 8 seconds in sports. Riders attempt to stay aboard 1,800 lb bucking bulls — the premier event in rodeo competition.

Bareback Riding

Bareback Riding

Raw power and athletic strength. Cowboys grip a rigging handle and ride unbridled horses with no saddle for a maximum score of 100 points.

Saddle Bronc

Saddle Bronc

The classic cowboy event. Riders use a saddle and rein to display fluid, rhythmic spurring motion in one of rodeo's most graceful disciplines.

Barrel Racing

Barrel Racing

Speed, agility, and horse-rider partnership. Cowgirls race a cloverleaf pattern around three barrels in the fastest time possible.

Team Roping

Team Roping

The ultimate partner event. A header and a heeler work in tandem to rope a running steer — both ends must catch for a valid time.
